merry christmas, happy new year and all that. here's our christmas gift for you - another inter gritty mash. i realise that many people don't recognise the nelly track but it is in fact the first single from her overlooked second album. a great song in my opinion, but it was pretty much ignored by the media at the time. figured it could be even better if i replaced the banjos with a massive techno hit... makes sense, doesn't it? this is actually the first mash i've made where i've only used two trax, and also the first one where no extra acid has been added.

Hmm. Ja det här känns som en bra danslåt. Blir lite tveksam till ett ljud i den, men å andra sidan så gör den sig nog inte när man dels sitter hemma och lyssnar och dels hör den för sig utanför sitt sammanhang av låtar före och efter. Sångrösten och uppbyggnaden känns ju bra annars, acidljuden är ju mycket bra. Perfekt ölmusik eller för den som är i farten, känns ju som skitbra pluggmusik. Men efter att ha hört låten 20 gånger så tröttnar jag på sången.
