mos i min skalle

another former neighbour of mine, postverket, put together this one. no acapellas involved here but two full version dance tracks beatmixed and nicely rearranged. the finest of stockholm and malmö working together to serve your feet. and possibly booty. quite simply, these two tracks were made for each other!

donk

minimal nutters donk boys made this remix of claude von stroke's deepthroat and it looks like it'll stay unofficial. quality jackin' as usual from the boys and it's a shame it won't be put on wax. but that's why i need you you guys to pass it on.

what a girl wants

two mashes based on trax by norrköping-based producer erland marckwort. the first one is just a nice bootleg mash-mix that takes the girly classic to another level and lets the chicks on the floor sweat it out a little. the second one is based on mr. marckwort's debut 12". when the people over at juno put it on their website they recorded the soundclip at the wrong rpm and slowed the track down. a friend of mr. marckwort's thought it sounded really cool and quickly mashed it with an old wu-tang track. the result is, of course, a nice piece of slowtechhop.

stand up for insanity

here's my second mash that's equally rave. had to edit out the freakiest parts of the winx track i'm afraid, it just wouldn't work otherwise. a bit raw in parts but that's how i like it. hope you'll like it too.

jihad & lance

here's a bunch of hip hop mashes & remixes from my former neighbour lance and my dj colleague jihad. they normally produce techno and/or house, but they can certainly make some wicked hip hop beats too. i particularly like the dubstep mash with ciara. pure bliss.

ciara vs. dmz - get up mystikz (jihad & lance bootleg mash)
nas vs. martial arts - martial rules (jihad & lance bootleg mash)

dead prez - hip hop (jihad & lance bootleg remix)
pharrell & snoop dogg - drop it like it's hot (jihad & lance bootleg remix)
neptunez & snoop dogg - signs (jihad & lance bootleg remix)

pilots

here's some more rave for ya. i don't have a background story for you other than pretty much everything this guy touches turns into compressed techno. basically it's just an excellent notwist tune mashed with a heavier beat and a new bassline, put through a compressor. it's lovely.

the notwist - pilots (prappe remix)

monster mash

here's a few remixes by my friend le monster, who happens to be resident dj at two of the best clubs in my home town. he apparently made these because he wanted to play them out but they just weren't really that dance-friendly. not exactly late night bangers, more like something to get the party started. enjoy!

andreas mattsson - you're never lonely when the band plays (le monster remix)
khonnor - burning palace (le monster remix)

basketball missing

it's only appropriate that the first post here be the first mash i ever made. it's actually a pretty ambitious one with three different acid classics taking turns behind tracy thorn's fantastic voice. bit of a slow builder but the final part is worth the wait. i'm still pretty happy with it and at least i've managed to keep an already filled floor full with it... enjoy!
